What formats can I upload and what exactly does it convert them into?
You can upload your usual files: an Excel (.xlsx), a CSV or the old Spanish AEB files (Norma 34, 34.14, 19, 19.44, 19.14 and 58). The tool converts them into the SEPA XML format your bank requires: pain.001.001.03 for credit transfer batches and pain.008.001.02 for direct debit batches, with CORE and B2B schemes. And the best part is that you do not have to force your file into any rigid template: you upload your Excel as is and, through a visual mapping, you tell it which column is the IBAN, which is the amount, which is the name… The system even remembers your preferences for next time.
Is it safe to upload my banking data (IBAN, amounts, customers)?
Yes, and it is something we take very seriously because we are talking about sensitive financial information. Security rests on two pillars. First, encryption in transit: all communication between your browser and our servers travels encrypted with SSL/TLS, the same technology your online banking uses. Second, and more importantly, we store nothing: once you generate and download your SEPA XML file, the source file, the batch data and the resulting XML itself are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers 10 minutes after the conversion. Your information is yours and yours alone.
Will my bank accept the file it generates without errors?
Yes, at any bank in the SEPA area. The files comply to the letter with the ISO 20022 standard, which is the official "language" spoken by all European institutions. It does not matter whether you work with a large bank or a smaller institution: the file will be accepted without issues. In addition, before generating the XML we automatically validate each IBAN in your file (structure and check digit), which prevents the vast majority of returns and the fees they carry. And if you want to be extra safe, you can run your batch through our direct debit XML validator before sending it to the bank.
Do I need technical knowledge or to install any software?
No. It is a 100% cloud service: there is nothing to install or maintain, and you use it from any computer with a browser. The process is three steps: you upload your file, you map your columns to the SEPA fields with a drop-down menu (the "mapping") and you download the XML ready for your online banking. The whole process takes minutes. If you are a technical profile and want to automate it from your ERP, CRM or custom application, we also have a REST API with code samples in Python, PHP and Node.js, and integrations with Zapier, Make and n8n.
Can I manage several companies or clients with a single account?
Yes, and at no extra cost. With a single plan you can manage several companies or different tax IDs through independent company profiles. It is the ideal option for accounting firms and agencies that prepare batches for several clients: each profile keeps its own originator data (name, tax ID, IBAN, creditor identifier), and you switch between them whenever you need to. There is no need to take out one account per company.
